ABOUT Dae Jones

"ONE DAE AT A TIME"

Dae Jones Born and raised in the Cabrini Green projects in Chicago, Dae began singing at the age of 7. Singing was her way of escaping the pain that she was going through. Dae’s mom had picked up and left her before the age of 1, so she was raised by next door neighbors whose halls she sang down all dae long. Inspired by voices like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and TLC, Dae grew a really “Big” voice. She had always dreamt of singing on big stages like the Apollo, or tv shows that helped stars dreams come true. It wasn’t until Dae heard “Through the Wire” by Kanye west that she wrote her first rap. The trials and pain expressed in the song was very similar to the pain that she had held in for so many years. So Dae started expressing herself through rap and r&b at a time where singing and rapping together was unheard of. Despite the difference in her music Dae kept striving, opening for big acts like Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Jeezy Dae was determined to be a star.

Dae Jones Is BET NEXT RAP STAR, And Ink a deal with Island Records. Where she will be releasing her highly anticipated album and her newly released single "CASH APP".
